CMC3-South Conference

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for the warm welcome, and for being so receptive to the material I presented. It was a very enjoyable experience for me.

I am in the process of putting the material from the talk online. A link to the transparencies is below.  I will be adding some instructor notes to remind you of how we used the transparencies, and also some links to appropriate web sites.

If you have any comments on the presentation, I would love to hear them.  You can email me at pat@mckeague.com.

I hope you will try some of the transparencies in your classes, and that you give yourself permission to use five minutes of any class period for whatever you find interesting in, and around, mathematics.

Thanks again for attending my talk

Pat McKeague

Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary  This is the Merriam-Webster online dictionary.  If you have on-line access in your classroom, this is a good place to go to look up definitions during class.  For example, look up the definition for scientific notation.  I think you will like it.
