Welcome to my WebsiteHello to everyone who attended my presentation on the spiritual side of mathematics, or on Islam and mathematics. It was fun sharing these ideas with you.
The spiritual side of mathematics is one of the things that drew me towards mathematics in the first place, and remains one of the reasons that I are happy to still be involved in mathematics education. The Islam and mathematics presentation gives a different view of the middle east from the one we see in the media. I think it is a hopeful talk - I hope you do too. You can download the slides from any of my presentations by clicking on the Presentations button. If you would like to see some of my blog posts, just click on the Blog button. I started my own publishing company in 2010 with the goal of lowering the price students pay for developmental mathematics textbooks. You can see that site at www.xyztextbooks.com. And finally, we have thousands of free videos covering topics from basic mathematics through calculus on www.mathtv.com. I hope you enjoy my website. Pat McKeague |

New Bootcamp Courses for Students
Get a head start on success in your next math course with our self-contained, non-credit, work-at-your-own pace bootcamp courses. Each course is free with an All-Access Pass, or $20 without (includes a 2-month subscription to all our eBooks). Successful completion of all assignments with an average of 75% or higher gets you a Certificate of Completion and an additional 2-month subscription to XYZ Textbooks.
Corequisite Textbooks for Instructors
Our corequisite courses have been created to be as flexible as possible. They can be stand-alone textbooks, they can be bundled with any of our textbooks, or they can be self-paced short courses. Each corequisite textbook is accompanied by a bootcamp course. The bootcamp courses run continuously, so students can enroll at any time. A student completing all the assignments in a bootcamp course with a final average of 75% or higher, receives a Certificate of Completion.
This is for students that need to take Non STEM statistics, and maybe one liberal arts math course. Students who need the Non Stem applied calculus should also take the Corequisite for College course.
